Sen. Maria “Frica” Pangelinan is sponsoring a free seminar on women in leadership to be conducted by Dr. Tusi Avegalio of the University of Hawaii on Jan. 26 from 5:30pm to 7pm at Pacific Gardenia Hotel.

Dr. Avegalio will examine compelling characteristics of synchronicity, multi-tasking, and intuitiveness that are essential for effective leadership into the increasingly dynamic 21st Century, qualities that females have in disproportion over males.

Additionally, understanding the process and importance of critical mass in venues ranging from elective office through the workplace, to social movements will also be examined. “Women are changing the world due to their ability to shift easier, adapt, change, and benefit from the turmoil of rapid change. Those qualities are a major leading edge in defining the future,” said the lawmaker.

Space is limited. Contact Emlyn Aldan at Sen. Pangelinan’s office 664-8858 if you plan to attend. (PR)
