MDX TO REPAINT ADA GYM PARKING LINES AND BUMPERS TODAY
The MDX Amateur Radio Club has volunteered to repaint parking lines and parking bumpers at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium parking lot today, Feb. 4, from 7:30am to 12pm. The public is requested to give way for the group’s repainting activity. (PR)
BICOL PAVILION RESERVED TOMORROW
This is to inform the general public that the Bicol Pavilion inside the Chamolinian Cultural Village is reserve for the activities of the Bicol Association the whole day tomorrow, Feb. 5, for its annual election of officers. (PR)
OES bulletin of February activites
This is to inform the parents and guardians of OES students about the changes to our school monthly calendar for the month of February 2006.
• Feb. 6-9, Monday-Thursday: No classes for students. (Professional Development for PSS employees. Feb. 6 & 7 is school level professional development and Feb. 8 & 9 state level professional development).
• Feb. 10, Friday: No classes for students and teachers (Intercession)
• Feb. 14, Tuesday: PTSA Meeting at 6pm school cafeteria.
• Feb. 16, Thursday: 3rd Quarter Mid-Progress Report.
• Feb. 18, Saturday: Yard Sale from 8am to 12pm, OES campus.
• Feb. 21-22, Tuesday-Wednesday: There will be classes for students and teachers.

BUDDY WALK SET FOR FEB. 18
The CNMI Association of Families with Disabilities wishes to invite the community to join the first ever “BUDDY WALK” on Feb. 18, 2006, starting at 6am at Garapan Fishing Basin.
Proceeds will be used directly for various unmet needs of individuals with disabilities and for planned events in 2006 to benefit such individuals further. The first 100 participants will get a free T -Shirt.
“We rely on the generous participation of our community in the ‘BUDDY WALK’ so that those with disabilities can lead valued and independent lives in our community. Wellness and integrations matters, so join us,” a media release from the organization said.

NEW SUPPORT GROUP FOR PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM
A new information and support group for parents of children with autism is being formed and those concerned are invited to attend. The new group will have its first meeting on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 at 1pm in Room 15 at the Community Guidance Center on Navy Hill. Information regarding the group and future meetings will be established at this meeting.

THANKSGIVING MASS ON SUNDAY
There will be a Thanksgiving Mass on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2006 at 9am at the Mount Carmel Cathedral for the soldiers of Echo Company, 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry. Following the Mass at 10:45am, the Reservists will motorcade from Mt. Carmel Cathedral to Hyatt Regency Saipan in Garapan where a military ceremony will be held at 11am.
