Love duet lip sync contest at GIG

On Feb. 14, lovers of all ages will experience a romantic atmosphere at GIG Discotheque, as the venue hosts a Valentine’s party dubbed “Love Struck,” which will feature a love song duet lip sync contest.

The contest is open to male or female singers who have a knack for impersonating or lip syncing songs like “Endless Love” by Diana Ross and Lionel Richi, “Guilty” by Barbara Streissand and Barry Gibb, “I Finally Found Someone” by Streissand and Bryan Adams,” “Baby Come To Me” by Patti Austin and James Ingram, “A Whole New World” by Regina Belle and Peabo Bryson, and many more. Cash prize and gift certificates await the winners.

Contestants will be judged under the following criteria: Lips synchronization, 25 percent; body language, 25 percent, costume and props, 25 percent; and facial expression/emotions, 25 percent.

GIG Discotheque is giving away $100 in cash to the winner and gift certificates will be given to the second and third placer winners.
