The Marianas Visitors Authority recently selected Jocelyn B. Pascua as the recipient of its Employee of the Quarter award for the 3rd quarter.

As a clerk for the executive division of MVA, Pascua is involved in writing correspondence and coordinating many meetings for the managing director, deputy managing director, and the board of directors for MVA.

In addition to her regular administrative duties, she serves as the Marianas Tourism Education Council coordinator for all meetings and produces the minutes for each meeting.

Furthermore, she helps MTEC with their activities, as well as MY WAVE activities, another organization created by MTEC. Pascua has also assisted with airport greetings for many chartered flights.

Pascua was awarded the recognition for her excellent organizational skills, her proven hard work in completing tasks, and her involvement with other activities outside her normal scope of work.

“She not only assists her co-workers within her division readily, but also volunteers to assist others” said MVA personnel specialist Polly Deleon Guerrero. “She is truly a great team player within our organization.”

As the employee of the quarter, Pascua received a certificate of recognition and $100.

MVA has always established an incentive for individual motivation toward providing quality service, increasing productivity, job knowledge and skills. The program recognizes outstanding performance and employee contribution toward meeting MVA’s goals and objectives. (PR)
