‘Improving employees’ work habits’ workshop this month

The “Improving Employee Work Habits” workshop will be held this Thursday, April 27, from 5:30pm until 8:30pm, at the NMC Small Business Development Center (SBDC, Building T).

The workshop guides the manager in distinguishing between job performance and work habits, dealing with unsatisfactory work habits early in the process, clearly explaining unsatisfactory work habits that focuses on behavior, involving the team member in the process of correcting the behavior and building controls into the process of improving work habits.

Dr. Ken Shankweiler, principal of KIS Communications, is currently on Saipan to teach the course. His seminars have been presented across America at major universities and to major corporations such as General Motors, Motorola and AT&T. He has held titles of vice president, general manager and director of engineering. He is the former chairman of Continuous Improvement for a $4 billion Fortune 500 company.
