The House of Manhoben Saints scored two wins in the ongoing 2006 NYBA cage league Monday night at the Garapan Basketball Court.

In the opener, the CTSI Logistics-backed team’s 14-and-under crew scored when they needed too in the dying minutes to beat Garapan Rollers II, 34-28.

Nick Reyes scored consecutives baskets, Nikko Masga followed with another bucket, and Joseph Reyes hit a free throw to give the Saints enough breathing room in the end, then the team got an extra two points as G-II cager Jomar Danas accidentally converted on a put back at the wrong basket to give the Saints their 34th point of the bout.

Nick Reyes led the Saints with 10 points, while Danas had a strong outing and led G-II with 10 points.

In the second game, Manuel and Kevin Aldan combined for 40 points to lead the Saints to a 76-60 victory over the Matansa Sparks I in the 16-and-under division.

The Saints had a tough time scoring the victory as Angeloa Maanao and James Camacho pumped in 14 and 11 points to help the Sparks, but in the end, the Matansa squad was not able to keep pace.

Manuel finished with a game-high 25 points while Kevin pumped in 15 points for the Saints.
