RGA Turkey Shoot set for tomorrow
It will be like hitting two turkeys—rather birds—with one stone when the Refaluwasch Golf Association holds its 2006 Turkey Shoot tomorrow, Nov. 12, at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.
RGA president Jess Wabol said aside from the annual Turkey Shoot, the association will also hold the November Ace of the Month qualifier on that day.
Check-in time for the Thanksgiving event/November qualifier is at 10:30am, while tee time is set an hour later at 11:30am.
All members that take part in the Turkey Shoot are guaranteed to go home with a stuffed turkey for Thanksgiving. They also have a chance in winning prizes like digital cameras, watches, and golf bags courtesy of the event’s many sponsors.
After the Turkey Shoot, members are invited to a barbecue that will be held at the Kagman residence of Joe Wabol.
The RGA Turkey Shoot is sponsored by First Hawaiian Bank, Caesar’s Sauna, J’s Restaurant, Yuna Driving Range, Saipan Shipping Co., Atty. Joey Arriola, Dial Rent-to-Own, and Cheap Charlie Discount Golf.
Cost to enter RGA’s 2006 Turkey Shoot is $100, not including green fee.
In related news, Jess Wabol is reminding Ace of the Month winners that they need to have played in a minimum of six tournaments (including qualifiers) in order to qualify for the yearend RGA Club Championship. Only two tournaments remain before the RGA Club Championship—December qualifier and the December Ace.
