China Youth Travel Service, along with Tian Yu Tavel services of Liaoning Province in China, visited Saipan on Nov. 4–7.

The group of nine executives of the company stayed at Fiesta Resort & Spa.

The purpose of this visit was to familiarize the group with the CNMI. The goal is to have these groups promote the CNMI in Shenyang, Liaoning Province in China and create awareness and demand for the CNMI in northeastern China. The group was headed by the GM of CYTS, Tun Qiu, and the GM of Tianyu Travel Services, Tianyu Wang,.

While here, the group did hotel inspections of the Saipan Grand Hotel and Fiesta Resort and Spa. They also visited Managaha and did a jungle tour. They also spent time on Tinian where they visited the Tinian Dynasty and toured the island of Tinian.

“It was great to have these visitors on our islands,” said Marianas Visitors Authority managing director Perry Tenorio. “It is vital to have these groups experience the CNMI so they can sell it as a destination. This assures that we continue to grow our China arrivals as outlined in the governors 5-Year Strategic Plan.” (PR)
