Ms. Gay Pacific at GIG tonight

Expect pageantry beyond compare when the Ms. Gay Pacific kicks off at GIG Discotheque tonight starting at 10pm.
Ten drag queens representing different beauty salons on Saipan and Tinian will display their wares for top honors. The Saipan-based candidates are Joan, Sunshine, Linda, Joseph, Miles, Venus, Rey, Sharmaine and Glydel. Expected to grab the limelight are the three candidates from Tinian.
Magic 100.3 FM DJ Zyra will act as host, together with Dr. Love.
Up for grabs are the following prizes: first place, $200 plus a brand new cell phone; second, $150; and third, $100.
The winner of the Best in Talent wins an overnight stay at Hyatt Regency Saipan, Best in Long Gown wins a $100 gift certificate from Bali Fashion, Best in Swimsuit wins an overnight stay at Fiesta Resort and Spa Saipan, Best in Fantasy Costume wins an overnight stay at Aquarius Beach Tower Hotel and the Best in Casual Wear wins an overnight stay at Summer Holiday Hotel.
