Whispering Palms School Middle School Class will be selling an international cookbook as a fundraiser, just in time for the holidays.

The cookbook recipes were compiled by the children from all the families at Whispering Palms School. The cookbook features recipes from the diversity of cultures represented at the school and on Saipan—local favorites and international dishes including Indian, Italian, Russian, Filipino, Swedish, Korean, Japanese and many other cuisines.

The Whispering Palms School Middle School is raising funds for an educational trip to Vietnam. The school has a tradition of engaging in educational travel to countries being studied as part of the social studies curriculum. In the past the students have traveled to Japan and China. It is part of the Middle School student’s responsibility to engage in fundraisers to assist in paying for the cost of the travel.

The Middle School students will be selling the cookbook outside stores on weekends for the next several weeks and at upcoming holiday fairs. Those interested in purchasing the cookbook may contact Whispering Palms School at 323-7451. (PR)
