Black Magic wins by forfeit
Black Magic kept its season alive after posting its first victory and snapping its two-game skid in the World Organized Rocball Community League yesterday at the Marianas High School Gymnasium.
The team didn’t have to do anything but show up to pick up the win as the Ballers forfeited to lose their third straight.
With the loss, the Ballers were the first team to be eliminated from further play. Teams with three losses will be eliminated from competition.
It was the second forfeit of the week after the Caropinos forfeited to powerhouse Watch & Learn on Monday.
Rocball action resumes on Monday, Dec. 4 with another battle between teams that have yet to score a win as the 670 Finest take on Caropinos. Both teams sport 0-2 win-loss records, and whoever loses will be eliminated from competition.
Bwibwiis will then try to improve their 1-1 record against Mwaliyas on Wednesday, Dec. 6, while Watch & Learn takes on the 1-1 Kich Fairo squad on Dec. 11.
The third round closes with a battle of the unbeatens as Da Lani Kynez and Dublan Chiefs face off on Dec. 13.
