The two American couples—Steve and Christine, Rod and Jean—who volunteered as professors/instructors in the OFW’s English Advancement Class at the Philippine Consulate, Saipan must be commended for their hard work.

More than 20 Filipino overseas workers seeking to improve their English skills and proficiency attended the 10 consecutive Sundays’ three-hour classes, which will end on Dec. 3.

We really learned a lot from them, they unselfishly shared their valuable time and knowledge with us. Their deeds are worthy to emulate. We salute you! Keep up the good work!

Since education is a continuous process, we OFWs should continue to enhance our skills for the betterment of ourselves, family and country. We must strive to become “world-class workers.”

We really express our profound appreciation and sincerest thanks to our instructors, the Philippine Consulate General, Philippine Overseas Labor Office, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration, U.P. Alumni Association-Saipan Chapter and to everyone who in one way or another helped make our undertaking a success.

Again, thank you! Congratulations! May your tribe increase!
