Is the OPA doing its job?

When Mike Sablan was appointed six years ago by Gov. Pedro Tenorio, I thought, “Just another interlocking, influential familial do-nothing maneuver, sweep everything under the rug.” I lived here nearly three decades and believed nobody could be as effective as his predecessor. Was I wrong. Since then, he has been committed to battle across the board. If not for Mike exposing the corruption, abuse of power and lavish spending by government officials and underlings, at our expense, all of us would still be wondering why we feel so impotent, pay so much and can’t get a decent job. How much “money” has Mike saved the CNMI by his dedication to duty? He’s still on-the-job.

Let’s keep him there.
