Quintanilla wins MDM cover girl search

[B]GUAM[/B]—An 18-year-old Yigo, Guam, resident romped off with the top prize in the first ever Marine Drive Magazine Cover Girl Search on Dec. 1, 2006.
JoJean S.N. Quintanilla received a $2,000 cash prize, a feature in FHM Philippines, a one-year fitness membership and the January cover of MDM after she bested 19 other semi-finalists during the final leg of the contest last Friday.
The second place winner, who received a $1,000 cash prize, a one-year fitness membership and the February cover of MDM, was 21-year-old Cristina Ishmael.
Twenty semi-finalists were featured in the December 2006 issue of MDM and last Friday, they competed for the coveted 12 spots to grace MDM in 2007. They were judged on poise, verbal skills, stage presence and overall appearance.
Ten additional finalists received a one-year fitness membership and will appear on the cover of MDM from March through December 2007. They are Desiree Braga, Dear Heart Gilliam, Eileen Guevara, Sarah Hatfield, Aleta Howell, Jenny Liu, Jesse Pinkston, Rayana Rojas, Christina Velez, and Kristine “Kai” Young.
The MDM Cover Girl Search was in partnership with FHM Philippines, Guamcell Communications, Mariacy Beauty Academy, Tropical Living, Hyatt Regency Guam, Gold’s Gym, KUAM, Subway, Coke and Foremost. [I][B](PR) [/B][/I]
