BOG calendar tilt winners get awards

[B]HAGATNA, Guam[/B]—The Bank of Guam handed out yesterday the awards to the winners of its 4th Annual Bank of Guam Calendar Contest, with a 10th grader at the Guam High School bringing home the $250 top prize. Two students from the CNMI who were also named winners in the annual contest got $150 each.

The contest featured photographs taken by the region’s high school students.

The 2007 Calendar cover photo winner is Franklin Lee. Eleven other students were also named winners and their pictures will be featured for each of the month of the bank’s 2007 calendar.

The other winners are:

-Mariana C. Sanders, 10th Grade, Home School (Guam)

-Oldak Calloghan, 11th Grade, St. John’s School

-Mari Awata, 10th Grade, Academy of Our Lady of Guam

-Stephanie Caluag, 10th Grade, Academy of Our Lady of Guam

-Jordan Bass, 9th Grade, Father Duenas Memorial School

-Kallen Perez, 12th Grade, Harvest Christian Academy

-Agnes Constanton, 11th Grade, Marianas High School (Saipan)

-Vincen Anson, 12th Grade, Pohnpei Island Central School

-Aran R. Evangeusta, 10th Grade, Tinian Junior Senior High School

-Keala Boyer Peters, 10th Grade, Southern High School

-Robert Tarkong, 12th Grade, Palau High School

The 2007 Calendar also commemorates the Bank of Guam’s 35th anniversary.

Held yearly for the last four 14,000 copies of the calendar are widely distributed throughout the bank’s 21 branch network in the region and are complimentary to its customers. They are also being sent to Guam’s troops deployed overseas. [I][B](PR) [/B][/I]
