A driver was seriously injured when a man allegedly struck his head with a motorcycle helmet last week on Tinian.

As of yesterday, the Department of Public Safety’s information office had yet to release information about the attack.

But sources on Tinian disclosed that the victim, a Chinese man, has been admitted at the Commonwealth Health Center on Saipan for brain injury.

Source said police already identified a local man as the suspect but it was not clear yet whether he was already arrested.

The attack reportedly happened in the parking lot of a nightclub on Tinian.

At first, the Tinian CHC first listed the victim as drunk. Medics had to argue with the nurses to get the victim help.

“The victim is a very nice man, and we feel very badly for him and want some justice. He was hit from behind,” a Tinian resident told Saipan Tribune on Friday.
