66 graduate from OES in farewell ceremony
Oleai Elementary School held its 6th grade Farewell Ceremony last Tuesday at the Multi Purpose Center at 6pm.
Lourdes Lailani Seman was declared the Valedictorian, while Ericka Shaira Giron Serrano took the Salutatory honors.
“This year was the most challenging year. I worked so hard to earn this position to make my family and friends happy. I also wanted to prove to myself what hard work can lead to,” said Seman.
Serrano’s message was on a somber note: “Moving from grade to grade, I realized that life is a journey that should be taken good care of because you may never know when life will be cut short.”
Subject awards were given to Samantha Marquez, Lourdes Seman and Ericka Shaira Giron Serrano for Best in Language Arts.
Seman Lourdes, Jayna Lizama and Ericka Shaira Giron Serrano were awarded Best in Math.
Jacqueline Maglonzo, Ericka Shaira Giron Serrano, and Ericka Shaira Giron Serrano got Best in Science and Social Studies awards.
Perfect Attendance went to Ruby Belingon, Desiree Oliverio, Karl Roque, Lourdes Seman, Magdiel Corpuz, Leonard Dantic, Lisascheeyong, Iginoief, Mark Abrihan, Linson Manahan, Eugene Pak, Ericka Serrano, and Matthew Tenorio.
Citizenship Awards went to Karl Roque Franklin Warakai, Lourdes Seman, Leilighbwe Raisiang, Jayna Lizama, Samantha Marquez, Mark Abrihan, Eugene Pak, and Alan Delos Santos.
Kenisha Mario was the only one to receive the Leadership Award.
Leilani Rabauliman was awarded the best female athlete of the year, while Franklin Warakai was the male athlete of the year.
