The William S. Reyes Elementary School held its Head Start Completion Ceremony Friday at their school campus.

The 110 graduating students, parents, and teachers celebrated with student presentations, party food and ceremonies. The students danced and sang, to much applause from a very appreciative audience.

The ceremony had awards given to outstanding parents who volunteered and who mostly help out the teachers.

“The celebration was mostly like a Family Fun Day,” said Ivan Garces, a Head Start teacher for eight years now.

Parents brought traditional food for the celebration.

The head start teachers were Garces, Kimberly Delos Reyes, Joe Cruz, Kinai Santos, Jacob Villagomez, Yoli Lely, Jackie Castro, and Melinda Diaz. There are three teachers per class sessions.
