Members of the Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested three men who were allegedly involved in trafficking methamphetamine or “ice” on Saipan.

Jun Lin, Dong Huang, and Feichuan Huang, all Chinese nationals, were apprehended for trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.

Lin, Dong Huang, and Feichuan Huang were brought to the Superior Court yesterday for a bail hearing.

The court initially imposed a $100,000 cash bail each for the defendants’ temporary liberty.

Police said that Drug Enforcement Administration Task Force members used a “cooperating source” to purchase “ice” from Lin worth a total of $650 last May 1, 30, and June 3.

Police said DEA and Department of Public Safety Narcotics Unit members also used the “cooperating source” to buy $750 worth of “ice” from Dong Huang last April 18 and 19.

A Task Force officer said that DEA members, with the help of Narcotics Unit officers and a “confidential source,” managed to buy a total of $1,200 from Feichuan Huang on April 29 and 30, May 30, and June 3.
