NMC registration begins next week

Registration for the Fall 2008 semester will begin on Monday, Aug. 18, 2008. New students are required to take placement tests in math and English before registering. Schedules for placement tests and Fall 2008 classes can be found online at www.nmcnet.edu. Students who are only taking classes for certification purposes or for personal enrichment do not need to take the placement tests.

Ongoing students must clear outstanding balances at the Finance Office, the Library or the Curriculum Resource Center before they can register for classes. To find out if a balance exists, students can visit the Office of Admissions and Records at the NMC Campus in As Terlaje.

All students must first obtain the required slip from the English department before meeting with their academic advisors to complete the registration form; registrants must then proceed to Room D-1 to complete the billing portion of registration. A complete list of academic advising contacts as well as registration procedures may be found on the NMC website.

Applications for admissions will be accepted until the last day of registration, August 23, 2008, provided that both placement tests have been taken. Note the following dates below:

Aug. 15 New Student Orientation
9:30am Room: D-1
5:30pm Room: D-1

Aug. 18 – 29 Registration Period for Fall 2008 Semester (must have English & Math Placement Level to register)

Aug. 23 Late Registration ($25 fee)
Aug. 25 First Day of Instruction
Aug. 25 – 29 Add/Drop Week (100 percent refund)
