Coke names final winners of its Golden Ticket promotion
“The sodas taste good, and what’s more, you get a chance to win prizes just for drinking them.”
This is according to the final draw winners of Coca-Cola Beverage Co. (Micronesia) Inc.’s “Golden Ticket Giveaway,” an eight-week promo that started on June 7, 2008 and ended on July 31, 2008. The Golden Ticket promo gave Coca-Cola lovers a chance to win free passes to the movies all summer long.
“I could not believe I won,” Ryan Paras of Koblerville said. “I am very thankful to Coke. It’s nice to have a beverage company like Coke coming up with promos like this. You get to drink good sodas and you also get to win,” he added.
Paras, a first-time winner, said he will take his nieces and nephews to the movies.
He said he bought Coke products by the cases over the past several weeks for parties.
Santiago Babauta of Marpi, another first-time winner; said Coke promos “give more value for our money.”
“This is good. It saves me money taking my family to the movies,” said Babauta, a hotel employee. He said he regularly buys Coke products in liter bottles.
A ticket at Hollywood Theaters costs $5 for all shows before 6 p.m.
Glennise M. Ada of Chalan Kanoa, and likewise a first-time winner; said she did not expect to win. “I always buy Coke and Sprite. I was surprised when I was told I won,” Ada, a sales representative for a distributing company; said.
She added, “I am thankful that Coke regularly comes up with promos. They always have something for their customers.” Ada said regular promos help enhance product loyalty.
She said she’ll take her 9-year-old daughter, Alexis; and six-year-old son, Angelo to the movies.
Previous to the Golden Ticket Giveaway, CCBM held the Nestea Summer Splash promo, which kicked off on June 8, 2007. The promo had a total of 45 winners who won Wave Jungle passes inclusive of lunch at Saipan World Resort.
In August last year, CCBM also gave away Paradise Sun t-shirts to customers.
The Golden Ticket final draw was held at the CCBM office on July 31, 2008. The other two winners in this draw were Joe P. Guerrero and M. Angela Wheat. (PR)
