AGO prosecutes teenager who allegedly stole govt property

The Attorney General’s Office has charged a teenager who stole air-conditioning condensers belonging to the government.

Marco T. Castro, 18, was charged with theft.

Chief Prosecutor Kevin Lynch stated in the charging information that on Aug. 24, 2008 Castro unlawfully took the property (air conditioning condensers) of the government.

No other details were given.

In other court news, the AGO charged two persons for assaulting another man.

Jin Koo Cho and Jin Wook were charged with assault and battery.

Cho and Wook allegedly repeatedly hit Solemon Solemon on March 2, 2008.

The two defendants were summoned to appear and answer the charges in the Superior Court on Oct. 14 at 9am.

The AGO also charged a man for assaulting another person last year.

Marley Defngin Buchui was charged with assault and battery for hitting Mr. Sohel Mohammed in the face on May 4, 2007.

Buchui was summoned to appear and answer the charges in court on Oct. 14 at 9am. No other details were indicated in court documents.
