4 Corners widens lead in darts tourney

Utopia 4 Corners continued to amass points and emerged as the best among the 41 teams competing in six divisions of the ongoing Saipan Electronic Darts Association.

The 4 Corners widened their lead in the A-Division by piling up 106 wins against 47 losses, according to the latest results.

D’Pirates D’Destroyers lag way behind in second place in the same division with 87 wins and 66 losses after the Oct. 16 matches that were held in different venues.

VFW Major Leaks are third (82-71), Sierra’s Shakem Up fourth (74-79), Vargas Snipers fifth (67-86), and Primo’s Seki D’Umber (43-110).

In the Masters Division, the Black Stallions remained in the lead with a 90-63 win-loss record but the Oleai D’Companeros cut the lead and stayed in second place at 86-87.

The Oleai Heavy Bombers are in third at 75-78, while VFW Chubby Wockees are fourth at 55-98.

Primo’s Pay Day Time is now leading the eight-team Tuesday B Division by two wins (81-54) over former leader Krystal 80 Proofers and Primos Nauhgty Boys, who have similar 79-56 marks.

The other teams’ records in the same division are Oleai No Fear (74-61), Jonny’s Insane Dart Posse (72-63), Jonny’s Fujin (67-68), D’Pirates B’Destroyers (56-79), and Jonny’s Samurai (32-103).

In Thursday B division, Naked Fish Unagas maintained their lead at 72-48, while Coral Reef Barracuda moved to second place with 68-52.

In third spot was Naked Fish Hafa Mas (64-56), fourth was Jonny’s Asian Dart Heads (64-56), and fifth VFW Clubmates (59-61).

Rounding out the team standings are Primo’s No Expectations (59-61), Gaia Bonzai (55-65), Remington Dart Vador (49-71), and Coral Reef Shark Attack (48-72).

In the ladies division, Oleai B-52’s remained in the lead with 65-40 but Naked Fish Shooters closed the gap by just a win and could easily manage to turn the tide in the next round with their current slate of 64-26.

In contrast, Jonny’s.Com and the rest of the field were way behind with its 48-72 in third place. Coral Reef Sting Rays were fourth with 44-61 and Coral Reef Mermaids fifth with 34-56.

Not included in the team standings for the ladies division were the results of the match between Naked Fish Shooters and Coral Reef Mermaids on Oct. 17.
