BoG names winners of Christmas card contest

[B]HAGATNA, Guam[/B]—The Bank of Guam named yesterday the winners of its 2nd Annual Christmas Card Contest for elementary and middle school students throughout Guam, the CNMI, Republic of Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Republic of the Marshall Islands.

Dominique Ong, a 7th grader student at St. John’s School, was named the overall winner and won $250.

Haley Cheong, a 6th grader at St. Anthony Catholic School, won second prize and $175, while Kevin Roy Igtanloc, a 5th grader at St. Anthony Catholic School, won third prize and $100.

A gift basket of school and art supplies was also given to each winner.

The Bank of Guam received nearly 800 submissions from 28 schools throughout the islands.

The Christmas card design contest had the theme “Celebrating a Green Christmas.”[B][I] (BoG)[/I][/B]
