CNMI Range Master Ambrosio Ogumoro has inspected two shooting galleries on Saipan and found them to have passed all safety requirements.

Ogumoro said Bing Bing Bang Shooting in Garapan and the Kannat Tabla Shooting Gallery in Kannat Tabla can now accommodate all registered gun owners for the purpose of recreational shooting.

“I would like to emphasize that it is critical that we are responsible on how we handle our firearms in the field, vehicle or home. An attitude of respect and seriousness should always be encouraged and maintained when dealing with guns,” he said.

With the certification of the two private shooting galleries, the civilian population can now enjoy a safe, secure, and regulated shooting environment, Ogumoro said.

He reminded the public that only those 18 years old or older are allowed to enter the gallery premises.

The range master said all persons must furnish a valid driver’s license or other identification that show their age before entering the gallery.

“Customers may use those firearms provided by the shooting gallery or their own personal firearms. Customers using their own firearms must present their registered firearms permit to the shooting gallery range safety officer,” Ogumoro said.
