This is to inform parents and guardians of Kagman Elementary School students that the 3rd Quarter Mid-Progress Report distribution will be held today, March 20, 2009 2-5pm in your child’s (ren) respective homeroom teacher’s classroom.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to make the time and meet with your child’s homeroom teacher in order to be informed about your child’s progress during the 3rd mid-quarter report distribution. Your parental involvement in your child’s academic progress in school will also have a positive impact on his or her success during this school year 2008-2009. The Division of Revenue and Taxation wishes to remind all CNMI residents that the 2009 1st Quarter deadline for filing the quarterly tax returns is Thursday, April 30, 2009. The Division of Revenue and Taxation will be open from 7:30am to 4:30pm on Thursday, April 30, 2009. [B]Pre-economic summit sessions set[/B]
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is reminding the public of the upcoming Economic Restoration Summit, set for April 2-3, 2009. In preparation for the Summit, there will be meetings this month to gather preliminary information and ideas from the private and public sectors. The first session last March 19 focused on private sector stakeholders. The second session on March 26, 2009, will be for government officials. It will be held at the Multi-Purpose Center, from 8:30am to 12pm. The session will be broadcast through video teleconference to Rota and Tinian participants. Saipan World Resort will be hosting several camp programs this spring break for children and teens.
Called “Spring Break Camp Quest 2009,” the camp consists of four sessions from March 23 to April 17 (Monday to Friday). It is open to boys and girls ages 5 to 12 years old and 12 to 15 years old for Junior Lifeguarding.
Camp programs include Water Park activities, trips to the Saipan Zoo, tennis lessons, swimming lessons, marine life lessons from CRMO, lifeguarding lessons, first aid lessons, field games, water games, and a scavenger hunt every end of the session.
Camp hours is from 8:30am for drop off until 4:30pm, for pick up.
Camp fees (including lunch & snacks)
-$100/week for locals and non spaness members
-$25/day for locals and non spaness members
-$90/week for SWR spaness members & SWR employees
-$20/day for SWR spaness members & SWR employees
