A 12-year-old student was arrested for allegedly shattering the glass door of one of the classrooms at Garapan Elementary School on Saturday morning.

Department of Public Safety spokesperson Lei Ogumoro said yesterday that the 12-year-old boy, a student of GES, was arrested for criminal mischief.

Ogumoro said the GES vice principal detained two other GES students—ages 11 and 12—for being in the school campus.

Police brought the boy who damaged the glass door to DPS and then transported the two other children to their homes.

Ogumoro said DPS received a call on Saturday at 11:51am about a criminal mischief at GES.

Responding police officers learned that the juvenile suspect used a hallow block to break the glass door of a 4th grade classroom.

Ogumoro said the acting vice principal caught the minor as well as the two other boys and immediately called the police.
