High school and college students are encouraged to attend the Northern Marianas College’s Career Center’s Career Development Workshops on April 14, 16, and 21 and Career Fair on April 23. The workshops and the fair are the college’s activities in observance of Career Discovery Month. A door prize will be given to the first 10 people at each of the workshop sessions and the fair.

At the Resume Building Workshop on April 14, participants will learn how to build professional resumes, reflecting skills, knowledge, and education.

The Self-Employment Workshop on April 16 will discuss the fundamentals of business planning.

The Interviewing Techniques & Etiquette Workshop on April 21 will reflect on how to prepare for an interview, how to present oneself at an interview, and how to follow-up. Participants will also be able to practice their enhanced skills in a mock interview towards the end of the workshop.

All workshops, which will be held in Room D-1 at the College’s As Terlaje campus, have a morning session from 10 am to12 pm and an afternoon session from 3pm to 5pm.

The Career Fair, which will showcase the employment opportunities in the CNMI, will be held at the parking lot between Building W and V at NMC and will run from 10am to 12pm.
