Island companies that want to do business with some branch or another of the federal government are being encouraged to attend a Saipan Chamber of Commerce-sponsored seminar that will be held tomorrow, April 22, at the Pacific Islands Club.

The half-day workshop will feature representatives of the U.S. Small Business Administration, the U.S. General Services Administration, and the U.S. Department of Agriculture–Rural Development.

It will focus on how to do business with the federal government and how to obtain capital through the SBA’s lending program. This workshop will be of interest to all who are planning to capitalize on the military buildup in Guam. In the afternoon, following the workshop, the representatives of the federal agencies will be available for brief one-on-one meetings with any interested individuals.

-Obtaining a Taxpayer Identification Number;

-Understanding Past Performance Evaluations;
