Eucon confers diplomas on 10 high school graduates16 other students promoted
Eucon International School conferred diplomas on 10 high school students and promoted 16 others during the institution’s 13th commencement exercises on Saturday at its Agape Auditorium.
Besides 10 12th graders, the school also promoted the same number of junior high school students and six sixth graders at the recognition rites that saw the attendance of over a 100 families and friends of the graduates.
The highest awardees from first through 12th grade were also recognized for their academic achievements.
Eucon traditionally gives three annual awards: the President Award, Principal Award, and Dean’s Award.
The President Award is given to students who display high academic performance and exemplary attitude. This honor was presented to top students from first to 12th grade: Christopher Mafnas, Victoria Nicole Santos, James Matthew Reyes, Jia Yi Linda Zhou, Daniel Villarmero, Julianna Patricia Perez, and Ha Won Samuel Seo.
The Principal Award, given to students who display significant improvements, was bestowed on Enoch Chen, Elijah Villarmero, Seon Yeon Sunny Woo, Adonna Matutino, Yue Nan Angel Xu, Fei Chen, Caitlin Trasmano, Hao Wei Liu, Oyundari Mika Tsatsral, Shi Yu Isaiah Zhou, Yanan Joy Wang, and En Ci Devin Zhuang.
The Dean’s Award, given out to students who achieve the highest academic stature, was presented to Joy Yan, Si Ting Aaron Zhou, Juancho Siasoyco, Danielle Pineda, Theresa Zheng, Ha Young Joseph Seo, Erin Rose Pacheco, Li Mei Feng, Pin Lu Qin, Jin Zi Angela Chen, Yu Tony Duan, and Wen Jing Faith Zhang.
Honorable mention awards went to Ken Cordero, Michelle Jeon, Jefferey Sheu, and Noreen Vidal for first grade; Caleb Yan, Jin Seok Park, Chisa Kobayashi, and Alan Mikhail Matutino for second grade; Ao Feng Zheng and Jan Matthew Millo of third grade; Gun Lee for fourth grade; William Young for fifth grade; and Mark Liban and Xu James Gao for 11th grade.
Of the 10 students who graduated high school, nine will stay on and study at the Eucon International College.
Eucon International School now offers summer classes for those who are trying to advance or retake classes. They are also accepting registration for English as a secondary language. The next school year will start on Aug. 15, 2011.
