The hazard elimination projects on Routes 10 and 100 on Rota by the Department of Public Works have reached substantial completion, according to Secretary Martin C. Sablan.

The two projects were intended to repair damage caused by natural disasters such as tropical storms.

Sablan said there are “minor issues” to be addressed on both Routes 10 and 100 after the two roads had been inspected. Route 100 is Rota’s main highway.

“These are only minor issues that need to be addressed. They’re not critical,” he told Saipan Tribune.

After the issues are addressed, Sablan said there will be a final inspection on both roads before a closeout of the project.

Another road project on Rota, Route 11, has already been completed. Route 11 goes from Sinapalo to Sabana.
