A drunken man allegedly beat up his wife, son, and his son’s girlfriend at their residence in Kagman III on Sunday night.

Steven Allen Sahagon, 46, was arrested for assault and battery and disturbing the peace. Bail was initially set at $1,500 cash. He was scheduled to appear in court yesterday afternoon.

Detective Peter A. Aldan stated in his report that police officer Stanley Patris was patrolling Kagman III along Mangga Street when Sahagon’s wife flagged him down.

The wife reportedly told Patris that Sahagon was drunk and was swinging their 7-month-old grandchild hard and high. The wife said the baby almost hit the wall so the mother took the child away from Sahagon.

The officer talked to Sahagon not to bother the children and go to sleep. Sahagon agreed so the officer left.

Later at 9pm, Patris was dispatched back to the residence after receiving a call about a domestic violence incident.

The officer learned that Sahagon had punched his son in the left eye and grabbed his neck and squeezed it. The suspect also butted his head against his son.

The son and his girlfriend took their baby and ran outside the house. The suspect’s wife called the police, but he allegedly slapped her in the face.

Patris arrested Sahagon.
