Friends of the Arts has issued an audition call for its next production, a concert of Broadway songs composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Come share in making this event another memorable program for the community.

Titled “Andrew Lloyd Webber: Beyond Memories,” the concert will be held on Sept. 30, Oct. 1 and 2.

Audition will be held on Aug. 19, from 6pm to 8pm, and Aug. 20 and 21, from 4pm to 6pm, at the MHS Gymnasium conference room—the room to the left as one walks through the door.

At the audition, you must be prepared to sing any song of your choice, preferably from a Broadway show. You must also be able to commit to rehearsal schedules and concert dates.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is a legendary composer from his generation who elevated the modern musical with the phenomenal successes of Broadway shows like Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and more. (FOA)
