Thank you also for being honest about not watching Fox News. I could tell you don’t and that’s why I suggested you watch it. Whenever I see someone make bad remarks about Fox, I know they don’t watch it but rather they follow the liberal news channels where they are told not to watch Fox—I have been told. Today John Carey said the media should not give equal time to the Republicans/tea party, etc., because they have nothing important to say. Wow, how liberal is that?
I am retired military with 27 and a half years’ experience, from Sept. 5, 1956 to summer 1996. Military actions are expensive no matter who is president. The equipment is specialized and expensive but built to last under rough conditions. I am a former Marine, member of the Air National Guard, and retired from the Army National Guard. I will stop with telling you war is expensive. Take a swim out to that old WWII tank across the road from MHS and you will see the steel monster is built to last—it didn’t come cheap.
You said that the Republicans used the hijacked plane hitting the Pentagon as an excuse for not giving the true amount for Iraq. The planes on 9/11 started the war on terrorism, then came Iraq several years later, so your source for that is totally wrong. My fuzzy math is my fault as I typed in trillion instead of billion. Sound better?
Still Obama has out-spent all other presidents. Just this week, Standard & Poor’s downgraded U.S. credit rating for the first time in our history. Meanwhile Obama and the Dems were calling the tea party and Republicans terrorists for making them cut spending. Under Obama, the U.S.A. is broke and downgraded! When Obama became president, Jaime Vargara said “We are on our way” and with Obama at the wheel and the Republicans in the back seat (Obama’s words) he drove the government not only into the ditch but into the swamp that Nancy Palosi couldn’t drain.
Mr. Romolor, I am not sure that America can last until the 2012 election and we get a new president.
