Make a difference in children’s lives: Donate school supplies
The Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation is inviting leaders, individuals, churches, organizations, and businesses to be part of its back-to-school supplies project to help provide school supplies to 500 children on Saipan this school year.
Donors may donate pencils, pens, coloring pencils, crayons, markers, writing pads, notebooks, filler paper, rulers, glue, erasers, sharpeners, pairs of scissors, and backpacks.
Nationals Office Supply has already donated a $100 gift certificate for school supplies and has allowed the foundation to place a donation box inside the store. Other stores supporting this project are Modern Stationary and Joeten Superstore.
“Please donate school supplies to our boxes in these stores. Buy the supplies and fill a donation form at the cashier so that we know the donors for us to write back to you and for your tax purposes,” said Rose Smith, director of the Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation.
Other retail stores can also support this project by allowing the Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation to place a box inside their store.
“The Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation believes in advocating for education for children to have proper tools to achieve their dreams of education,” said Smith. “Let us all share what we have to help families struggling in hard times.”
Those who wish to donate money for this cause may write a check to Empty Vessel Ministry Foundation and drop off their donation at the foundation’s office in Gualo Rai or at the Empty Vessel Ministry booth at the Garapan Street Market.
