For the second year, Pacific STAR Center for Young Writers Inc. is inviting public and private school students and community members to participate in Project Holiday Cheer by writing holiday letters to CNMI military personnel wo won’t be home in the CNMI for the holidays.

Last year 2,195 letters were collected, sorted and mailed to CNMI men and women in the military around the world. Emails and letters of appreciation showed that the students’ letters help morale during the holidays.

This year, Project Holiday Cheer is being co-sponsored by Pacific STAR Center for Young Writers, Inc., the Office of Military/Veterans Affaris, and VFW Post 3457.

If you have a family member or know of someone in the military who won’t be home for the holidays, please provide us with an address so they can be included in this project. You are also invited to write a letter. Email information to pacificstarcenter4yw@yahoo.com or page Katharyn Tuten-Puckett@236-READ. (PR)
