Even as summer is drawing to a close, the computer classes being offered by the Joeten Kiyu Public Library have a few more sessions before they end on the last week of August.

Classes are divided into two sessions: the Beginning and Advance.

For the beginning category, you will learn some basic information such as browsing the Internet and Microsoft Office application like Microsoft Word and Excel.

For the advance category, you will learn Adobe Photoshop.

The process of joining is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and each class only has a maximum of six people a week. You are allowed to take the classes only once.

Information Technology Center coordinator Roy Rechebei is handling the sessions five days a week and each session is about an hour and a half. Time schedule varies, however, when there are power outages.

“It’s been sparse due to the schedule, it has been not as filled as it was last year,” said Rechebei.

The classes started in June.
