The Women’s Thursday Night League will hold its inaugural Women’s Classification Tournament next month at the Saipan Bowling Center.

Thursday Night League president Lucy S. Deleon Guerrero said the first-ever Women’s Classification Tournament, which is organized in collaboration with the Women’s Affairs Office and the Marianas Visitors Association, is being geld in celebration of Women’s History Month.

“As well as helping us mark Women’s History Month. I also hope to increase the participation of women in the sport of bowling on Saipan,” said Deleon Guerrero.

The Women’s Classification Tournament kicks off at 9am on March 27 at the San Jose bowling venue.

Deleon Guerrero said all women bowlers from other leagues, non-bowlers as well as the youth are welcome to participate in the tournament.

“The more the merrier. This is the chance for veteran women bowlers and up-an-coming bowlers to strut their stuff on the wooden lanes of the SBC. We also want to see novice and young bowlers in the tournament,” she said.
