The Central Statistics Division of the Department of Commerce will be conducting the 2005 CNMI Household Income and Expenditures Survey starting March 2005 on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.

In anticipation of this project, the division will be recruiting individuals interested to work as enumerators.

Commerce Secretary Andrew Salas said the purpose of the survey is to enhance the ability of the CNMI government to use and report consistent, reliable, efficient, and cost-effective demographic, social, economic, housing and expenditures data to interested individuals and/or organizations, potential investors, and other government entities.

Enumerators must be at least 18 years of age, U.S. citizens or residents of the CNMI, be in possession of a valid CNMI driver’s license, and have their own transportation.

For more information in applying to be enumerators, contact 664-3023/3033/3039 on Saipan, Martin Mendiola on Rota at 532-9408, and Norbert Hofschneider on Tinian at 433-2589.
