The Fil-Taga Golfers Association will hold its February Ace of the Month Tournament this Sunday, Feb. 20, at the Marianas Country Club.

Tournament director Jun Calma has set the check in time for the February tournament at 11am with tee time scheduled 30 minutes later at 11:30am.

Winners of the monthly tournament in the A and B Flights automatically qualify for the Fil-Taga Golfer of the Year Tournament.

Last month, Sen. Pete Reyes claimed top honors in the A Flight, with a net score of 66, while Rene Batallones finished with a net score of 62 to claim the January Ace title in the B Flight.

Established in 1993, Fil-Taga’s tournaments operate under a computer-controlled handicap system that creates parity among players in the A and B Flights.

A Fil-Taga Ace of the Month champion is crowned monthly. Regular tournaments are scheduled once a month, normally every third Sunday. Green fees are in the $35 to $40 price range for most tournaments.
