Excuse me?

This is in response to Mr. Joseph Weindl’s remarks on evolution in Thursday’s Saipan Tribune.

Simply put, liberal education, so necessary in today’s world, would seem to indicate the prudence of placing all the important theories and held explanations of a matter before students’ critical consideration.

Of course, we tend to believe and practice this for the social sciences and humanities, irrespective of the role religion may have played or not played for the theorizers. So why do the rules suddenly change when it comes to the sciences?
