A man is facing criminal case for allegedly sexually abusing his own 14-year-old daughter.

The Attorney General’s Office yesterday filed criminal information against W.K., charging him with sexual abuse of a minor in the second degree.

The defendant’s identity is being withheld to prevent public identification of the underaged victim. The criminal information stated that the defendant is the victim’s natural father.

CNMI chief prosecutor Jeffrey Moots said the defendant rubbed the victim’s private part with his hand last May 21 on Saipan.
