Inspired by the warm reception from its regular club habitués, GIG, Saipan’s premier club, whips up a weeklong entertainment package to delight the island’s partygoers.

Every Tuesday night, managers are being treated to a party aptly dubbed “Sex in the City” featuring the music of the Knight Owls Band. Songbirds Joy Yumul and Joan Cabrera belt out bouncy rhythms and R&B hits, creating the perfect ambiance for partying.

Every Wednesday night, Filipinos in the island will experience an evening of nostalgia as the Big Beats Band stretches its vocal chords to belt out retro favorites.

This Thursday night, the champion of the 2005 Liberation Day’s Battle of the Bands, popularly knows as Mix Plate will take center stage. Titled “Thursday Island Groove,” they will perform their own rendition of reggae hits and island music.

Expected to pack the club to the rafters will be the Friday and Saturday nights, now extended to make it a two-day Ladies Night. This is in partnership with by MARPAC.

For more information about GIG’s entertainment package, call the dynamic manager, Fred Santos at 234-5050 during office hours. (PR)
