Continental Micronesia to open renovated Palau office
HAGÅTÑA, Guam—Continental Micronesia will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony of its newly renovated City Ticket Office in downtown Koror on Wednesday, March 29, at 10am.
Invited guests include President Tommy E. Remengesau Jr., Vice President Elias C. Chin, Senate President Johnny Reklai, Speaker of the House of Delegates Augustine Mesebluu, many other government officials, members of the news media, tour and travel agencies, and the Palau Visitors Authority.
The totally renovated City Ticket Office includes a new counter, chairs, signage, posters, blinds, ceiling, lighting fixtures, air conditioning, and paint. The Palau CTO has been in its current location on the ground floor of the George Ngirarsaol Building since 1988. The staff of four helps about 200 customers a week or about 50 walk-in customers a day.
“This upgrade is an example of our investment in Palau’s future,” said Wally Dias, Continental Micronesia staff vice president for sales and marketing. “We also wanted show our appreciation to our customers in Palau by offering getaway packages to nearby destinations,” he said.
To help celebrate its newly renovated City Ticket Office, the airline is offering special holiday packages to Guam and Manila. The holiday packages include roundtrip, economy airfare, transfers, daily breakfast, and hotel accommodation starting as low as $399.
Customers can visit the newly renovated CTO and purchase their holiday packages Monday through Friday from 8am to 12:30pm and from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The office is closed on weekends and observed holidays.
