Castro heads Saipan branch of SSFM International Inc.
Beginning this April, Gregorio Q. Castro will assume the role of general manager in SSFM International’s Saipan office. Castro was previously a project and construction manager for SSFM’s Pacific Region Operations. He will be replacing Ralph Hayashi who will continue as vice president of Pacific Region Operations providing oversight to Saipan and Guam.
Previous to joining SSFM, Castro was the deputy executive director of the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. on Tinian. As former manager of the Tinian office, he oversaw 39 employees and was responsible for all power, water and wastewater services for Tinian.
Castro, a service veteran, retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of SFC. He received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Alameda University in Boise, Idaho before entering his 20 year military career.
