Tomoko Aldan was hired as a dental assistant three weeks ago to handle the large increase in patients ToothWorks has been experiencing recently. Because the dental clinic’s plans to offer dental services to more international patients, Tomoko is a valuable asset as a fluent speaker of Japanese.

Tomoko first visited the island of Saipan in 1989 as a tourist. She returned two years later and worked for a couple of years as a marine sports instructor, and then for seven years as a tour agent. She enjoys making her home here with her husband and his family, who are from Saipan.

She commented that what she likes most about working at ToothWorks is that the dentists and staff work hard to offer the best dental care available. Tomoko said that one Japanese mother told her that her children like their dental treatment at ToothWorks a lot more than the treatment they receive in Japan.
