USCG recruiters to visit Saipan high schools
U.S. Coast Guard recruiters are scheduled to visit Saipan high schools and conduct tests required for individuals interested in enlisting.
The recruiters will be on island from Nov. 17 to 20 to inform students about the U.S. Coast Guard as well as answer questions people may have about joining the U.S. Coast Guard, including pay, medical and dental care entitlements, skills training, and education benefits.
Meanwhile, the Armed Service Vocational Aptitude Battery—ASVAB—will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 19 beginning at 4:30pm and on Saturday at 8am. Both tests will be administered at the Army Reserve Center in Puerto Rico.
Eligible individuals are those between the ages of 17 and 30, citizens of the United States, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau, or are permanent residents.
A photo identification card is required prior to the tests.
