FLAME TREE ARTS FESTIVAL MEETING ON APRIL 16

The Commonwealth Council for Arts and Culture, Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, is inviting representatives of all ethnic groups to a meeting for the 24th Annual Flame Tree Arts Festival.

The meeting will be held Tuesday, April 16, at 6pm, at the Multi-Purpose Center in Susupe, to discuss the activities of the arts festival on Saipan from April 15 to 17, 2005, including the Parade of Cultures featuring ethnic costumes.

The Flame Tree Arts Festival is the largest annual arts and crafts festival in Micronesia, featuring live performances and booths for artists to display, sell, and demonstrate traditional crafts and contemporary artwork.

ESSAY, JINGLE CONTEST ON FOR CCLPC, DCCA

The Chamorro-Carolinian Language Policy Commission, Department of Community & Cultural Affairs is sponsoring an essay and jingle contest for all public and private schools.
