The 8th Annual Government Men’s and Women’s Softball League is just about to start and organizers are calling for an organizational meeting this week to get things rolling.

Division of Sports and Recreation, under the Department of Community and Cultural Affairs, has scheduled a meeting for the men’s division this coming Wednesday, Feb. 16, 9:30am at the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Topics to be discussed are league opening day, eligibility requirements, ground rules, and entry fees. The meeting for the women’s division will be scheduled on a different date, the DSR said.

For more information on the government softball league, contact the Ada Gym or DSR at 664-2503 or 664-2508 and look for John Reyes, Joey Dela Cruz, or Mario Sablan.
