The Verizon Star Cruizer will be at the Suds for Funds event happening this Saturday from 10am until 2pm at the Shell gas station on Airport Road.

Proceeds from this weekend’s Suds for Funds, which is a car wash event, will go toward the Glushko’s Academy of Performing Arts.

“Come on down for a good cause and at the same time get yourself a brand new prepaid phone,” Verizon said in a statement.

At the same time that the Suds for Funds will take place, the Verizon Star Cruizer will be offering great deals with their prepaid phones. For instance, the Kyocera 2235 and the Modotell WCE-100 will be on sale for only $59.99. With each purchase of a cell phone, you will receive a free $10 calling card, a car charger, and a leather case.

With the huge success of the After Hours Sale last weekend at the Verizon parking lot, the brand new Nokia 2285 cell phones are no longer in stock since they were sold out in an hour. Yet, the Kyocera 2235 and the Modotell WCE-100 are excellent choices of prepaid phones that are available on the market. The Kyocera 2235 is great for text messaging with its easy-to-use keypads, while the Modotell WCE-100 is perfect for those who are looking for a compact size phone that can easily fit into any pocket.

For more information about Verizon’s prepaid cell phones, call 234-7143 and a Verizon representative will be glad to answer any questions that you may have or you can go online to find out about the features of the phones at www.vzpacifica.net.

The Verizon Star Cruizer will also have an array of prepaid long distance and cellular cards for sale. More information about these cards can be found at http://ecard.vzpacifica.net/.

If you do not have the time to check out the Verizon Star Cruizer this Saturday, the same deals will be happening at the New Payless Supermarket on Sunday from 10am until 2pm.

“So start planning your weekend by including a stop to the Verizon Star Cruizer at the Shell Gas Station on Airport Road this Saturday or at the New Payless Supermarket on Sunday from 10am until 2pm,” the Verizon statement said.
